Our products are divided into two main areas - complete testing systems and electronics sub-systems.

Our systems incorporate a combination of mechanical scanning / handling units, PC based ultrasonic instrumentation and software for system control, data acquisition and imaging. All these parts are designed and manufactured in our own factory, but we can also incorporate instruments for other inspection techniques, such as eddy current inspection and laser gauging. Our electronics sub-systems are built up from a range of USL designed PC expansion boards for ultrasonics, data acquisition and motion control. These are used in our inspection systems but are also available for use in "third party" systems on an OEM or upgrade basis. USL was one of the first companies in the world to design and manufacture PC expansion boards for ultrasonic testing applications. Click on the electronics bar for more information.
