An existing UK customer has placed a new order for a 10 axis complex geometry squirter inspection system with a scan volume of 5 x 2 x 3 metres. This will replace a similar unit originally installed in 2003, which has been in production use since then but now needs replacing by the latest system. After installlation there will be a total of 4 of these complex geometry systems on that customer site.
As with other USL systems all the functions of multi-axis control, combined pulse echo and through transmission acquisition and real time imaging are controlled from a single industrial computer using a single integrated software package. As a result the systems are more efficient than competitor products, with faster scanning and analysis.
